Applicants should have some working understanding of German to participate in the German Chat Group. If you’re unsure whether your current level is a good fit, bitte fragen Sie einfach—contact the GAST office at 918-744-6997 and we’ll be happy to help you decide.

The chat group is all about conversation—sprechen, hören, mitmachen. It’s a great opportunity for those studying German or looking to maintain skills learned in the past. Sessions are guided and taught by Grete and are organized into 8-week sessions. The group meets once a week on Thursdays at 7:00 pm and typically runs about an hour.

Please note that refunds are not issued for missed classes, and missed sessions cannot be rolled forward. If an entire class needs to be rescheduled, details will be coordinated via email or chat, and students will be notified by email of the make-up date.
