German Language Classes

Want to finally stick with German? Du bist genau richtig hier!

Maybe you’ve tried language apps but lost momentum. Maybe you want to connect with your heritage, or simply feel confident reading a menu, chatting with German speakers, or traveling without depending on Google Translate.

Whatever your motivation, GAST’s in-person German classes offer a refreshing path forward. We welcome curious, community-minded adults of all ages, including retirees, professionals, heritage learners, travelers, and language lovers.

From absolute beginners to fluent speakers refining advanced skills, our classes span the full range of experience, from A1 to B2. Each course is taught by a native speaker or certified instructor in a small group setting at the GAST Event Center. You’ll get the benefit of real feedback, cultural insight, and hands-on learning in an encouraging environment.

Why in-person? Because language is meant to be lived. Apps and online programs are great for solo drills, but they can’t replicate the spontaneity of real conversation. Our in-person classes give you authentic speaking opportunities, help you form lasting connections, and turn learning into a lived experience. You might even find yourself blurting out "Genau!" in casual conversation, and pro tip, that’s how you know it’s working.

Whether you’re just starting or ready to dive into deeper conversations, our courses build confidence through meaningful dialogue, personal instruction, and a community that sticks with you. The friendships you make may even come with Kaffee und Kuchen.

Learning German doesn’t have to be lonely, overwhelming, or boring. At GAST, it’s social, doable, and genuinely fun. We promise not to assign Kafka—unless you ask (and fair warning, it has been done).

Want to finally stick with German? Du bist genau richtig hier!

Whether you’re starting from scratch or brushing up advanced skills, GAST offers small-group, in-person German classes taught by native speakers and experienced instructors. From A1 to B2, our sessions provide real feedback, cultural context, and meaningful practice.

Why in-person? Because language is meant to be lived. Apps are helpful, but they can’t match the spontaneity, connection, and fun of real conversation. You might even catch yourself saying Genau! without thinking, and that’s when you know it’s working.

Classes meet at the GAST Event Center: 12-week sessions for adults, 10 weeks for youth and kids, plus a 7-week ongoing Online German Chat Group for relaxed conversation.

GAST welcomes learners of all backgrounds, including heritage speakers, travelers, retirees, and curious minds. And yes, Kaffee und Kuchen may appear.
